well, Hello there!

THE STORY

A lifestyle blog is something that I have frequently dreamt of having.  I followed God’s will for my life and He led me to marriage at the age of 23. I was 18-hours short of a Mathematics degree and truly had no idea what was in store for me career-wise.  While being a stay-at-home mom was wildly entertaining (and by wild, I mean wild), I really felt called to work outside of the home after having my three children.  I began a career in direct sales in 2010 and found a passion for selling and sharing things that I love.  It was so much FUN to meet new people, many of whom are VERY dear friends today.  After my 5 years in direct sales, I was feeling drawn to fashion and interior design but wasn’t sure how this would fit into my story.

In January of 2017, I was settling into my new job as a Sales Director for a children's clothing company — life was GREAT.  It was a DREAM job and a God-send. The company was growing at an incredible pace.  I LOVED coaching women to help them realize their full potential and also, in some cases, help them maintain their positions as sole providers for their families.  It was incredibly fulfilling.  And then... 2020.

It's like a curse word.  

I lost my job, and professionally speaking, I lost my purpose.

Now, I'm not going to sit here and tell you that sadness didn't settle all over me.  It did — but eventually so did clarity and opportunity.  For the first time in what seemed like a VERY long time, the dream of a lifestyle blog was in reach.  Fred, my husband and my best friend, was all in and SO supportive and I could see that this was destined to be real. 

All in God's time, my friends.  

And here we are — launching on my 40th birthday.  

The feeling is incredible and I am certainly glad to celebrate with you.
